BALTIMORE -- The 2018 NJCAA Region XX Division I Women's Basketball Tournament on March 2 will be a rematch of this year's Maryland Juco Conference Women's Basketball Tournament championship between Harford and Baltimore City. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Baltimore City.

Harford comes into the championship fresh off their fourth consecutive Maryland Juco title by way of a narrow 46-45 victory over Baltimore City.

The Fighting Owls posted an impressive 25-2 record this season, with both of their losses coming against undefeated ASA College. The vast majority of their games have been dominating affairs, as only four their victories on the season have been decided by single digits.

Harford is scoring 91.8 points per game and have 14 victories by 40 points or more.

While they have defeated Baltimore City in both of the teams' contests this year, the point differential from those two games combined is only nine.

The Fighting Owls may be considered the favorites heading into the regional championship, but will certainly have their hands full with a revenge seeking Panthers squad.

Baltimore City posted a strong 21-7 record on the year and are looking to build off of a deep conference tournament run to finally defeat Harford.

Two of their losses came to juggernaut ASA College and two were at the hands of Harford.

Despite playing such a strong schedule, the Panthers have overpowered its opposition for the majority of the season, scoring 82.5 points per game.

Baltimore City's fourth quarter comeback in the MDJUCO tournament final ended in heartbreaking fashion, as they fell just short, losing to Harford by one.

The defeat will undoubtedly serve as motivation for the Panthers, as they look to finish what they started and avenge their two losses against the Fighting Owls from earlier in the season.
