The Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference annually recognizes success in the classroom from those eligible student-athletes across the 16 member institutions. The MD JUCO All-Academic Team is awarded to those student-athletes who have participated in at least one sport for one season while achieving an overall grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. First-year students must have earned at least 18 credits, while second-year students must have earned at least 42 credits to be eligible for the award.
This past year, a conference record 131 student-athletes earned the nod, with six claiming a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. To view the 2013-14 team, click here.
In 2012-13, 61 student-athletes across 12 member schools were honored with an MD JUCO All-Academic Award. Click Here.
During the 2011-12 season, 87 student-athletes across 13 member schools were honored with an MD JUCO All-Academic Award. Twenty of those 87 award winners achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.
