Maryland JUCO Announces Fall Conference Coaches of the Year

BALTIMORE -- The Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (Maryland JUCO) today announced that Joe Fiedler (men's soccer), Jason Muffoletto (women's soccer), Ashlyn Rebok (volleyball) and Murray Davis (men's & women's cross country) have been name conference coaches of the year in their respective sports.   

Fielder (CCBC Essex) led the Knights to an 11-1 conference record (13-6-2 overall) and third consecutive Maryland JUCO title. The Knights also won its sixth consecutive NJCAA Region XX Division I Men's Soccer championship, all with Fiedler at the helm.

Muffoletto (Harford) guided the Fighting Owls to its first conference championship since 2014, going 7-0 in Maryland JUCO (19-2 overall). Harford would go on to win the NJCAA Region XX Division I Women's Soccer title, NJCAA District L championship, and qualified for the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship, where they nearly upset Tyler J.C., the eventual national champion, in pool play.

In her first season, Rebok (Hagerstown) led the Hawks to a dominating 12-0 Maryland JUCO record (15-6 overall). It's the second straight conference title for the Hawks, who have gone 53-5 in conference over the last five seasons.

Davis (Harford) has been the Fighting Owls' head men's and women's cross country coach since 2011. His squads took the conference by storm this season, winning Maryland JUCO championships in both genders.
